I had back labor with Son #1 - it was awful! I did have an epidural with Son #1 and was still able to move my legs (in slow motion, it seemed), but I didn't feel much pain during the actual birth. Your post was great. We rescently found ou that my 16 year old sister is pregnant. I felt like I had been hit in the stomach when they told me. I practically raised her and I ADORE that child. I was an Air Force wife, away from my mom & sisters. No friends and no one to teach me a thing. And if I didn't ask questions, no one volunteered the information. I've commented once or twice before, but the main reason I don't comment is because I dont have my own blog...but anywhooo....I wanted to tell we have more in common then our loves of flip flops (me being in Texas, I wear mine year around pretty much) Like you, I was pregnant my senior year of high school also. By the "boy across the street" who one year after our baby's birth became my husband. (Almost 12 years ago) Although I was pretty open with my options I agree that "teens" should have more then just the regular birthing classes. Maybe because today teen are having babies much sooner than I did at 17-18.
